There is a local public bus that will connect you with other activities in the mountain town including the Bucegi Mountains. Tickets cost around 2 Lei and can be purchased from the bus driver. There are three main bus lines (T1, T2, and T4) that travel from Platoul Izvor, which is close to the Sinaia Sud train station. The three lines share more than half the same route and then proceed in different directions to the north.

The Gondola Sinaia is a cable car that travels 6,561 feet into the heart of the Bucegi Mountains. There are two different cable cars one that operates from 3,280 to 4,593 feet and runs daily from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. The other is the Gondola Carp that travels from 4,593 to 6,561 feet daily from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. Purchase tickets from the ascent or descent for approximately 20 LEI per adult and around 15 LEI per child. There are passes available for the two cable cars costing around 35 LEI at full far or 20 LEI at a reduced fare. Children under the age of 5 travel for free.

Renting a car is a great way to reach Sinaia from either Bucharest or Brasov. Sinaia is only 1 hour and 30 minutes driver from Bucharest via DN1 or DN71. There is parking available at most hotels once you reach the resort area.
