Before your journey
Before Your Transfer
Checking the details on your Transport Voucher before departure makes it much easier to identify your driver and resolve any unexpected situation.
Read Your Voucher
Review the Airport Instructions, contact telephone number, pick-up location and any specific information included with your transfer reservation.
Know Your Transfer Type
Private, Shared and Scheduled Shared Transfers operate differently, particularly when it comes to waiting times and intermediate stops.
Keep the Contact Number Handy

Keep your Transport Voucher accessible
The voucher contains the instructions you should follow at the airport or hotel and the contact details required if your driver cannot be located.
Understand your reservation
Types of Transfers
Waiting times and stops depend on the type of service booked. Check your Transport Voucher to confirm which transfer applies to your reservation.
Private Transfer
Your driver should be ready to depart once your party has arrived. Private transfers are normally direct and door-to-door.
Shared Transfer
You will travel with other passengers arriving on flights at a similar time. Departure takes place once the scheduled passengers have arrived.
Scheduled Shared Transfer
The vehicle departs at the specific time shown on your Transport Voucher and may make scheduled passenger stops along the route.
Airport to Hotel
Know where to meet your driver, what to do if your flight is delayed and how luggage, waiting times and stops are handled.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
In most cases your driver will be waiting in front of your arrival gate after you have gone through customs, holding a sign bearing the lead name of your party.
Procedures can vary depending on the airport and the service booked, so always follow the Airport Instructions on your Transfer Voucher.
What happens if I cannot find my driver?
First make sure you have correctly followed the Airport Instructions on your Transfer Voucher. Then call the contact number supplied on the voucher.
If you still cannot locate the driver, take a taxi to your hotel and keep the receipt.
Contact Tripmasters at Contact@Tripmasters or through the chat on the Tripmasters website as soon as possible. The taxi receipt will be required to expedite a refund to your credit card.
What happens if my flight is delayed and I cannot find my driver?
Transport companies currently allow approximately a one-hour waiting window for airport passengers.
If your flight has been delayed, first call the telephone number shown on your voucher to determine whether the driver can return to the airport.
If this is not possible, take a taxi to the hotel, retain your receipt and contact Tripmasters as soon as possible.
Because of flight delays and schedule changes, once travel has begun it may be extremely difficult to reschedule a transfer.
How long will I have to wait at the airport?
For a Private Transfer, the driver should be ready to depart once your party has arrived. When flights arrive on time, the goal is to leave within approximately 45 minutes of meeting your driver.
For a Shared Transfer, you will travel with passengers arriving on flights at similar times and will depart once the scheduled passengers have arrived.
Scheduled Shared Transfers depart at the time stated on the Transport Voucher.
I have lost my luggage. Will the driver collect it for me later?
Airlines use handling agents who arrange for delayed luggage to be forwarded to your hotel.
If your baggage is missing, find your driver and explain the situation so the driver knows why you have been delayed.
I have lots of luggage. Will there be room?
Each traveler is allowed a maximum of one suitcase and one carry-bag.
Oversized or excessive luggage such as surfboards, golf clubs or bicycles may be subject to restrictions. Contact Tripmasters before travel to confirm whether the additional luggage can be accepted.
Can we stop at a supermarket or collect property keys en route?
This is possible only by prior arrangement with the agent identified on your voucher and only when traveling by Private Transfer.
The request is subject to availability and additional supplements may apply.
Is the transfer direct or do we stop en route?
Private Transfers are normally direct and door-to-door.
Shared and Scheduled Shared Transfers may make brief stops to collect or drop off other passengers or as part of the scheduled service.
Does the driver speak English?
In most cases drivers speak English. Scheduling requirements can occasionally mean that a non-English-speaking driver operates the transfer.
Does the transfer vehicle have seat belts?
Transfers operated in cars and minibuses are supplied in vehicles with seat belts.
Larger buses may not have seat belts. All transportation supplied complies with local regulations.
If your driver cannot be located
Follow the instructions on your voucher and call the provided contact number first. If the issue cannot be resolved, take a taxi to your hotel, keep the receipt and contact Tripmasters as soon as possible.
